A sneak peek inside our latest magazine!

28th November 2018

We are delighted to present the third edition of Aspirational Living, our lifestyle magazine that aims to highlight some of what is so special, sometimes unusual and hopefully enjoyable about living or spending time in Cornwall.

In our latest issue, you will find a great feature from our Padstow based Michelin Star chef, Paul Ainsworth, including a delicious recipe using many fabulous local ingredients.

We also have a fascinating interview with the national freediving champion, Georgina Miller who highlights the many benefits of learning this skill in Cornwall plus where you can experience it for yourself! This teamed with stunning underwater photography from world-renowned Daan Verhoeven, makes for a breathtaking and interesting read!

We were also lucky enough to get a rare behind the scenes insight at Pendennis Superyachts, based in Falmouth, where some of the world’s best superyachts are built and maintained.

We’ve also caught up with one of the most up and coming designers in the country, Tom Raffield; he talks about his inspirations, his Cornish work/life balance and gorgeous new designs.

We speak to Caroline and Louise, the duo behind the rising success of Mint House interiors. A company based on a little idea that started the week their children started school. 5 years on they have swapped working around the kitchen table to their own studio and shop on the cliff tops at Perranporth.

Gavin Woodford of Woodford Architecture gives us a fascinating insight into the beginning of their involvement and the development of this unique manor house sold by us, to its current owners. We can not wait to see what the incredibly talented team at Woodford come up with and will be following the entire progress from now through to completion. Watch this space!

We pay a visit to The Nare Hotel, the ‘country house hotel by the sea’ situated at Carne Beach, near Veryan on the Roseland Peninsula and see why it’s recently been voted ‘Best Seaside Hotel of the Year’ for 2019 by the Good Hotel Guide.

Not only do they stock the best range of brand name furniture in Cornwall, including ercol, Stressless, G-Plan and Hypnos but they also offer a free design service with their own in-house specialist.
