Trelowen – Fowey
Surround yourself in water on the south coast of Cornwall; Trelowen sits on the clifftop across from Fowey, commanding a view of blue where the sea meets the sky. Huge windows frame the panoramic sea views, with even the ground floor bedrooms having a view to wake up to.
As is to be expected from a Classic Cottage, the attention to detail is second to none, from the carefully laid out living room making the most of the location on the first floor, to the clever decorative features of boat oars for hanging rails and the luxury of the hot tub. And oh, what a hot tub.
There’s not many that boast such a view. Lay back in the bubbles with a glass of something equally bubbly and come rain or shine, you can appreciate the comings and goings of boats to the harbour, winter waves crashing in the distance, or perhaps even dolphins frolicking in the summer sun. If you’d rather watch the water than get in it, the beautifully landscaped garden is also home to a Scandinavian barbecue hut for al fresco dining or mid-winter marshmallow toasting. All with that exceptional view.
