Pendower is a very handsome Edwardian property set in a quiet location just 500 metres from the beautiful harbour in this popular village. Built to be the home of the village schoolmaster, the house sits in an elevated position with views across the village towards the harbour. Pendower has recently been sympathetically updated by our vendors to exacting standards so the property still retains its prominent sense of history via a number of period features such as its tessellated hallway flooring and ornate plasterwork, whilst benefiting from a contemporary interior and layout that suits modern living.

Steps lead to the entrance and the symmetry of its double fronted design is just so appealing. On either side of the hallway are two lovely reception rooms, with one having the potential to be an additional bedroom as it is connected to an en suite and shower room - perfect for an elderly guest or relative.

Towards the rear is a well positioned snug and then the beautiful kitchen/living room. This is a really wonderful area to entertain - an open and modern space bathed in light from the roof lights in the dining area, as well as from the conservatory and French doors connecting to the garden. There is a very spacious utility room connected to the rear of the kitchen and within this is a good sized cellar which would be perfect for a wine collector.

The first floor offers a beautiful and stylish principal suite with dressing room and it also has views towards the harbour. A second bedroom also enjoys views towards the harbour from its large bay window and there are two further bedrooms and a well finished family bathroom.

The garden is lovely with an enclosed rear terrace area that links well with the kitchen, making it perfect for entertaining. At the far end of the garden is a very well set out detached annexe, that currently provides additional accommodation, but could be used as a home office or as a gym / studio. The garage is spacious and there is additional parking for two cars outside.
